It can be a frustrating scenario: you visit your dentist for general dental care and then discover that you need a little extra support. Whether you need braces or dental implants, being told that you will have to go and see another dentist for these treatments can be unnerving, especially when you have a good rapport with your dentist already. At Kooringal Dental, we are proud members of the International Association of Orthodontics (IAO), which is a well-established organisation that encourages the progression of dentistry. This means that you can visit our dentist Wagga here at the practice for your everyday care and when you need something a little different, we can take care of that too.
Why should I stay with Kooringal Dental?
If you need a treatment that goes beyond general dentistry, then you are more likely to have this spotted by our dentist Wagga, who has been providing your general care. With quick identification of the requirement for further treatment, we can save you money by treating the issues as early as possible, not to mention time – we know you have a busy life and want to spend it elsewhere, other than in the dentist’s chair! Our practice has more than one dentist Wagga. We have a team of highly qualified and professional dentists who can bring dynamic treatments to your dental plan to ensure that you are getting the care you need to resolve any issues that arise.
What treatments do you offer?
For general dentistry, our treatment package is vast and includes check-ups and cleans, using AIRFLOW from EMS. This reduces the need for traditional scaling techniques and should result in a far more comfortable experience, whilst still resulting in clean teeth and gums. It can remove stains and improve the appearance of your teeth as a result.
For treatments beyond general dentistry, we also offer dental implants. Implants are used for patients who have one or more missing teeth. They consist of metal screws that are attached to the jawbone, where the teeth have been lost. The screws fuse with your body’s tissues and become firmly fixed in place. To these screws, we can then attach crowns, bridges or dentures. The result is a natural-looking smile that won’t be going anywhere as your replacement teeth shouldn’t loosen.
If you have misaligned teeth, we have a range of removable and fixed brace options. One of our popular treatments is Invisalign. Invisalign is a system consisting of clear aligners that are made of plastic and are bespoke to your mouth. You change between the aligners on a weekly basis and wear them like a gumshield (only they are far more streamlined and comfortable.) While they are being worn, nobody should realise that you have them in your mouth, and you can remove them for up to 2 hours a day.
Come and visit!
For dental care for the whole family and to find out more about what we offer, why not book in for an initial consultation. We will be able to discuss your concerns and examine your mouth thoroughly to determine your treatment plan. We will discuss all of the options with you and you can ask as many questions as you need to and together we will put together a plan that suits your specific needs.
At our practice, whether you need general dentistry or something extra, we like to give you lots of reasons to smile.
All treatment carries risks. Individual consultation is required with one of our practitioners to ensure that the treatment is right for you.
